Calendar Update 2021
E-Bike World Tour Flachau – see you on the 24th - 26th June 2022
Due to the strict COVID-19 restrictions in Austria, the inaugural E-Bike World Tour Flachau event has been delayed until 2022.
With health and safety of utmost concern, the E-Bike World Tour organizers and the resort of Flachau (Austria) have decided to postpone the first-ever Flachau E-Bike Festival until 2022. The current COVID-19 restrictions in Austria make it hard to imagine organizing a mass-participation event in 2021. Therefore, in order to offer the best possible event in terms of both rider experience and safety, the decision has been taken to wait until 2022 for this first edition of the festival.
“This is not because we do not put our heart and soul into organizing cool events in Flachau, but much more because the pandemic is unfortunately still omnipresent” specified the organizing committee from Flachau.
2022 dates in the diary: The organizers have selected the weekend of 24th-26th June 2022 for the rescheduled event. Make sure you are there to ride and discover Flachau – it’s going to be great fun!
“E-Bike World Tour is looking forward to the first edition of the Flachau E-Bike Festival in 2022, with time to develop even more trails and offer the full festival experience for the participants.” – Nicolas Hale-Woods, CEO, E-Bike World Tour
“After intensive discussions with all partners, we have therefore decided to postpone the Flachau E-Bike Festival by one year, as the health of our guests and employees is top priority. The opening event of a “World Tour” absolutely needs an audience and a great atmosphere around the event, which cannot be guaranteed with the restrictions that we are facing this year.” - Eugen Fischbacher from the Local Organizing Committee in Flachau.
We are happy to confirm that the Tignes-Val d’Isère and Verbier events are unaffected by Flachau’s rescheduling.
